Context of the interview

The delivering system is well know in downtown Curitiba, and there are many stores that provide this service for free. With this interview we learned more about how the process of delivering works. The interviewee is the owner of the store, who was also building a furniture for his bussiness, on the sidewalk.

What is the average amount of gallons delivered by your store during a day? How many gallons can be delivered in one bike?

From 60 to 80 gallons per day. The bicycle can hold up to 5 gallons.


What are the biggest difficulties during the delivering process?

The traffic, cars in the street and people on the sidewalks. Also buildings without elevators.


How many people work here?

3 mens work here, 2 do the delivery and the other one stays in the store to awnser the calls.


And what is your structure? Which objects you use during the day?

We have 2 bikes, and a spare one. This bikes are called "charging bicycles". We do not own a computer, so the addresses have to be written down and a map is used.
